Angie Spangenberg
Awards/Honors:
Angie Spangenberg was the head coach at Red Oak from 1990 to 2007 and Harlan from 2011 to 2016. During her 24 years of coaching, Angie compiled a 623-162 record. Angie took 14 teams to the state tournament, nine at Red Oak and five at Harlan. She won two state titles in 2013 and 2014, both at Harlan. Angie also has 3 runner-up finishes. Angie was named IGCA State Coach of the Year three times. She was the AVCA National Coach of the Year in 2014. Angie was also awarded the Golden Plaque of Distinction from the IGHSAU in 2015. Angie served on the NFHS and the Iowa Volleyball Rules committee, the Player Hall of Fame committee, and the Senior All Star committee. She coached the Senior All-Stars in 1998 and 2005. She also started the Red Oak Club program in 1991. Angie is currently the Harlan Middle School Dean of Students. Angie and her husband, Randy, have been married for 37 years. They have three children, Jared, Brock, and Paige and eight grandchildren.

BJ Eldridge
Awards/Honors:
BJ Eldridge spent 35 years as a head coach at Winterset and in the state of Wyoming. During her 28 year tenure at Winterset she compiled a record of 623-231. Her career coaching record is 754-285-58. BJ took 14 teams to the state tournament, seven in Wyoming and seven at Winterset. She won a Wyoming state title in 1984. BJ was awarded Iowa District Coach of the Year three times. BJ stated the AAU program in Winterset in 1991. The program still exists today as the feeder program for the Winterset volleyball program. Since 1990, she has run summer volleyball camps for Winterset student athletes. She has also facilitated a “hit and miss” CrossFit gym for the last seven years. BJ currently lives and teaches physical education at Winterset High School. She enjoys spending time with her father, age 93, brother, Gary, and sister, Lori. BJ also has three nieces and one nephew.

Dennis Jandrey
Awards/Honors:
Dennis Jandrey was head coach at Mediapolis High School for 26 years. During his tenure, he compiled a 746-189-48 record. He took five teams to the state tournament, finishing in the semifinals twice. Dennis was named IGCA District Coach of the Year three times and SEISC Conference Coach of the year 11 times. In 1999, Dennis was selected to coach the Senior All Stars. Dennis served on the IGCA All-Star Match Committee from 1994-2003, the IGCA All-State Committee, and the Class 2A SE All-District Committee. He was the founder of the Southeast Iowa Volleyball All-Star Classic, the Great River Juniors, and Bullette Volleyball Club. Dennis lives in Mt. Pleasant and works as the Network Administrator for the Mediapolis School District. He and his wife, Angie, have three daughters, Jill, Jayme, and Ashlei. He also has seven grandchildren.

Stuart Dusenberry
Awards/Honors:
Stuart Dusenberry has been a volleyball official for 27 years. He has worked 19 state tournaments. He also served on the IGHSAU Volleyball Advisory Board as the Official Liaison from 2010-13. He was awarded the NFHS Iowa Volleyball Official of the year in 2003. He is also involved with the training and education of volleyball officials in Southwest Iowa Stuart was also the head tennis coach at Atlantic High School for 22 years. Two of his teams finished second at the state tennis tournament. Stuart served on the Iowa Tennis Association Board for 18 years, including being the President for 2 terms. Currently, Stuart serves as a delegate on the United States Tennis Association Executive Committee. Stuart lives and works in Atlantic as an insurance agent for Mutual of Omaha. Stuart and his wife, Sheryl, have 2 children, Evan and Tess.
