Brand has an overall record of 186-82 in seven seasons at Pella High School. The Lady Dutch were state runners-up in 2016 which is the highest finish in school history. They’ve participated in the State tournament the past 3 seasons. The Lady Dutch were Little Hawkeye Conference champions in 2016, and co-champions of the regular season in 2013 & 2017. Brand was named All-District Coach of the Year in 2016 & 2017.
Favorite Volleyball Memory:
My favorite coaching memory is the 2016 season, particularly our finish at the state tournament. It was a week of emotional highs and lows, come-from-behind finishes, and Pella’s first-ever win at the state tournament. That team accomplished incredible things on the court and made a million memories off the court. I feel blessed to have been a part of it!

Will and Amy Norton
Awards/Honors:
As co-head coaches of Cedar Rapids Jefferson the past 4 seasons, the J-Hawks are 108-52. Jefferson has won the Conference Championship in 2017 and 2018 and qualified for the State Tournament in 2017. The Norton's were Coaches of the Year in 2017 and 2018 in the MVC Conference and for the Metro area, as well as 5A East All-District Coaches of the Year last season.
Favorite Volleyball Memory:
Our favorite part of the journey so far has been the relationships we have built with our players and watching them grow over the last four years both on and off the court. To see them achieve their goals of a Conference Championship and then becoming State Qualifiers, breaking a 20 year drought for the community of Cedar Rapids Jefferson are certainly some of the highlights so far. We have been blessed working with great kids and the memories are endless!
