Cyndy Gray
Awards/Honors:
Cyndy coached at Oskaloosa for 18 years. During her Oskaloosa tenure, she compiled a 445-126-45 record. Cyndy's overall record is 535-172 with coaching positions in Horton, Kansas, and William Penn University. While at Oskaloosa, she led the Indians to 10 state tournaments, finishing second in 1995. Her teams also advanced to the semi-finals in 1988, 94 and 2000. In 2001, Cyndy was awarded State Coach of the Year. She was also voted District Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2001. After a four leave of absence from coaching, Cyndy coached at Will Penn University for one year, earning the Midwest Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year and All Region VII Coach of the Year. Cyndy served on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Volleyball Player Hall of Fame Committee from 2003-05. She also was on the All State Selection Committee in 1995. Cyndy coached USAV club volleyball teams from 1990-1999. She was and continues to be a volleyball mentor. She also served as the Oskaloosa Volleyball Camp Director from 1988-2002. Cyndy lives in Oskaloosa and teach Physical Education at Oskaloosa High school.

Jim Owara
Awards/Honors:
Jim started his officiating volleyball career during his Air Force military days over 50 years ago. After moving to Iowa in the late 1950's, a Coe College coach asked him to work college volleyball matches. Thus began his career officiating high school, junior high and even church leagues. During the 1980's, Jim worked the state tournament in Des Moines. Jim continues to serve as a mentor to volleyball officials to this day. Jim is well know for his origami. He would hand out origami to players, officials, fans, scorekeepers and others. He told the players to "not play with it until the match was over. I don't want your coach to get mad." Jim was born and raised in Hawaii, where he was a track and football standout. He joined the Air Force after high school and was stationed in Honolulu. Jim and his wife, Pat, have known each other since grade school. They have been married over fifty years and have two sons, Kris and Karl.

Marty Barnet
Awards/Honors:
Marty coached at Davis County High School from 1977-2007. She started the volleyball program at Davis County and during her tenure, she compiled a 683-307-117 record. She led Davis County to seven conference championships and eight second place finishes. Under her guidance, Davis County advanced to four state tournaments, 1994, 96, 97 and 2001, reaching the semi-finals twice. Marty was named District Coach of the Year and Ottumwa Currier Coach of the Year in 2001. Marty was on the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Volleyball Advisory Board from 2002-06. She served on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association (IGCA) All-State Selection committee, the IGCA All-Star Selection committee and the IGCA Volleyball Coaches and Officials Hall of Fame committee. Marty and her husband, Cody, have 2 daughters, April and Monica, and 4 grandchildren. Marty and Cody are both retired from teaching and coaching. They live Bloomfield but spend the winter months in Arizona
